They are lenses or veneers that cover the outside of the front teeth in order to improve the shape, color and size of the teeth, achieving harmony with the face. There are two materials: resin (it is made directly, that is, in the mouth, where the tooth is molded; or indirectly outside the mouth, where they are then placed on these teeth) and ceramics (which are made by our laboratory technicians with certain differences with respect to the resin that will later be placed on the teeth). Differences between resin and ceramic: we only work with a type of resin that makes it different from the others on the market, which has characteristics such as: it has nanoceramic particles which make it a much better finish and polish and are much more resistant to the fractures. But the resins lose their properties over time and require maintenance since they can become pigmented or may require a change in them. With respect to ceramics, it is a much more resistant material that, when made in specialized ovens, is much brighter, and the best property of these is that they do not become pigmented with the food we eat.
